Day 9: Simple Living Challenge – Simple Kitchen
Day 9 Topic: Simple Kitchen
Who would have thought that 6 months of dealing with everything in the kitchen being out of place, extreme amounts of dust, losing use of our sink for a week and just pure chaos would result in the feeling of bliss! Well, that’s where I’m at these day!

It took 5 years of planning and some serious frugal shopping, but we still managed to create the kitchen of our dreams! The number one feature that I have to say I love the most is my drawer system on the bottom shelf. It not only saves time and my back, but it also makes everything in the cabinets look neat and orderly! We actually have drawers that we purchased at our local thrift store for $5 a piece that will be going onto the top shelf and I can’t wait to get them installed. If bliss feels this good, then what does pure bliss feel like? Guess we will find out in the coming weeks!
Do you have a special feature in your kitchen that helps you on a daily basis? Please leave a comment and share your thoughts!
